Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) – Focused on physical rehabilitation, therapeutic interventions, movement sciences, and restoring patients’ functional independence and quality of life.
Bachelor of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology (BAOTT) – Designed to develop skilled professionals in anaesthesia assistance, operation theatre management, surgical procedures, patient safety, and perioperative care.
Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (BMRIT) – Prepares students in medical imaging technologies and diagnostic procedures, including radiological and imaging techniques used for accurate clinical diagnosis.
Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS) – Equips students with expertise in clinical laboratory procedures, diagnostic testing, pathology, microbiology, biochemistry, haematology, and other essential areas of medical laboratory science.

Our programmes are designed to provide a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge, laboratory-based learning, clinical training, practical skills, and real-world healthcare exposure. Students are encouraged to develop professional competence, critical thinking, communication skills, teamwork, empathy, and ethical responsibility.

The faculty aims to create an environment where students can learn through modern laboratories, practical demonstrations, clinical exposure, workshops, seminars, internships, case-based learning, and research-oriented activities. By integrating technology with healthcare education, we strive to prepare graduates who are ready to meet the changing needs of hospitals, diagnostic centres, rehabilitation facilities, laboratories, healthcare organisations, and other clinical environments.

Welcome to the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at Vidya University!

Healthcare is no longer limited to doctors and nurses alone. Modern healthcare depends on a wide network of highly trained professionals who contribute to diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, surgical care, laboratory investigations, imaging, and patient recovery. The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at Vidya University has been established with this vision of developing competent healthcare professionals who become an integral part of this multidisciplinary healthcare ecosystem.

We are proud to introduce four specialised undergraduate programmes — Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology (BAOTT), Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (BMRIT), and Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS).

Each programme has been thoughtfully designed to combine strong academic foundations with extensive practical and clinical learning.
