Design education is more about learning the rules and then adding your personal flavor and breaking the rules. So learning the core fundamentals is the initial step. As a student you will learn all the basic design principles in detail along with their applications.
COLOR PALETTES & CREATING VIBRANT COLOR SCHEMES
A good well thought color palette goes a long way in determining the worthiness of your design, be it fashion, digital or art. As a student you will learn creating that fine balance between the colors and different color families which is very crucial in developing fabulous work.
SEWING, DRAWING & PATTERN MAKING TECHNIQUES
Not only will you learn everything in classrooms and on your notebooks, but transitioning your thoughts & ideas into live forms that can be put under the spotlights. The little things about sewing and drawing will be taught to you so that you are capable of transforming your visions into usable products. You will also be trained to conceptualize and develop patterns which could be used further.
DIGITILIZING YOUR ART & COMPUTER AIDED DESIGNING
The 21st century design education is incomplete without the technology integration. Be it the art of developing your handmade designs into digital art forms or using various digital tools to create something, the power of sophisticated computer programs cannot be eliminated. At VIFT you will learn the basic fundamentals of these computer aided tools.
